Nominations sought for state Parents of the Year

Nominations are being accepted for Pennsylvania’s Parents of the Year, to be awarded at the 12th Annual Pennsylvania Parents of the Year awards banquet and celebration at 6 pm on Saturday, July 15 at the Wyndham Harrisburg Hotel in Harrisburg.

Mr. Subodh Sharma, who serves as state coordinator for National Parents’ Day, said: “The purpose of Parents’ Day is to set aside a special day for people to focus on parenting, draw attention to the valuable role parents play in shaping society, and to facilitate learning how parents can improve their child-rearing skills.”
